Lita C-Y, artiste, designer et photo journaliste, vous invite à découvrir et partager sa passion pour la perle de l’Asie, « Ceylan », aujourd’hui dénommé « Sri Lanka », une île qu’elle considère comme un paradis très précieux.

Pour Lita, il est primordial de soutenir le Sri Lanka et de faire vite oublier le Tsunami ainsi que la guerre civile qui sévit depuis plus de 19 ans. Elle compte pour cela sur ses reportages, ses créations et ses expositions.
A l’occasion de la Fiac, la Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain, Lita C-Y, vous convie à l’hôtel Mercure Porte de Versailles*, du 5 au 20 octobre 2005 pour y découvrir sa dernière exposition en hommage au Sri Lanka.
Vous retrouverez son Mur des Espoirs, ses Chapo-Tablo ainsi que le reportage photo des ses dernières représentations de « Lady in the Renaissance Bubble » réalisé au Sri Lanka par Steeven Petitteville.

Cette infatigable globe trotteuse dédie son travail aux enfants du monde et plus particulièrement à ceux du Sri Lanka où elle caresse le projet d’ouvrir sa première école, une résidence d’artiste appelée « Le Créatif Ashram», dans un village de pêcheurs à Mount Lavinia.

Les reportages photos ont été réalisés par Steeven Petitteville lors du voyage de presse TV5 et France 3 du mois de septembre 2005. « Long live Sri Lanka » by Lita C-Y

Lita C-Y, is an artist, a designer and a photo reporter.
She invites you to discover and share her passion for the pearl of Asia, « Ceylon », now called « Sri Lanka », an island that she considers as a very precious paradise.
For Lita, it is most important to support Sri Lanka, and help the country open a new chapter after the recent Tsunami and a 19 year-long civil war. She will use her travel reports, her artistic creations and exhibitions to support this cause.
At the occasion of the FIAC, the International Contemporaneous Art Fair, Lita invites you to visit the hotel Mercure located Porte de Versailles*, from October 5th to 20th 2005, and discover her latest exhibition dedicated to Sri Lanka.
You will see her « wall of hopes », her Chapo-Tablo (artictic compositions based on a hats), as well as a photo report of her most recent « Lady in the Renaissance Bubble » performances in Sri Lanka shot by Steeven Petitteville.

This energetic globe-trotter dedicates her work to the children of the world and especially to the children of Sri Lanka where she plans to open her first school, a residence for young artists named « Le Creative Ashram », in a fishing village at Mount Lavinia.
